The role:
We’re seeking a highly creative UX/UI designer with an eye for crafting exceptional and beautiful brand experiences across some of the agency’s largest accounts. We’re looking for someone who wants to reset the standards for digital design excellence, elevating our craft with a love of typography, colour, iconography, art direction, motion and interaction design.
We’re seeking a designer who isn’t afraid to experiment with emerging technology and think beyond the screen – from designing for an interface, to deciding which interface or interaction will best solve the problem.
You don’t have to have all the answers, but if you’re ambitious and have big ideas, we’d love to see what you can do. You’ll work closely with a team of creatives, producers, developers and strategists to design beautiful human-centered experiences.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ideating digital design solutions to deliver impact for brands and businesses.
- Creating highly crafted interactive brand experiences across platforms and products, with deep attention to detail that demonstrates an understanding of nuance (from typography to the role of motion design).
- Building design systems and documenting your work for handover to developers.
- Structuring client presentations and presenting your work with confidence.
- Working closely with other disciplines to deliver crafted, feasible interactive solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A portfolio that showcases your conceptual approach to design thinking.
- Impeccable craft and attention to detail.
- UX skills and application of experience design thinking will be highly valued: including any research you’ve undertaken to inform your work, user journey mapping, user testing and user flows.
- Appetite for exploration of AI and creative use of AI to optimise workflows.
- A Figma pro with solid prototyping skills.
- Knowledge of design tokens, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Someone who loves variety and can take on projects of any scale and scope.
- Experience with motion or interaction design is a bonus.
- 7+ yrs experience in similar role
