Accounts Assistant

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. The role reports to the Financial Controller and we require someone to work on a full time basis.

The role will be responsible to process invoices, payments, bank and credit card reconciliations and to assist the finance team in maintaining accurate reporting.

The role

  • Processing purchase invoices and expense claims
  • Reconciling supplier invoices to purchase order
  • Processing fortnightly payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving supplier queries
  • Weekly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting the finance team with month end journals and process documentation

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar finance support role
  • To be financially astute with strong attention to detail
  • To be highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent time management skills and be highly organised
  • Experience with the Workbook platform, but not essential
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • An interest in working within a creative and fast paced environment.
